Typography. Books.
I am a typographer, writer, and book designer devoted to serving readers, writers, and artists. I aim to work with quality texts that deserve refined typography, and I believe strongly in educating future designers to be critical thinkers in their practice.
I hold a Bachelor of Design from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, and a Master of Arts in Book Design, having graduated with distinction from the University of Reading's Department of Typography and Graphic Communication. I am an ardent supporter of Canada's independent presses and bookstores. Originally from Vancouver, Andrea J. Pennoyer Design is now based in Hamilton, Ontario.
